Ethan has over 27 years of working in the public fire service and is currently the Training Chief of a fire department in San Antonio, TX.  Three of those years were spent in the Fire Marshal’s Office where he performed plan reviews, fire investigations, public education, & fire code enforcement. He has investigated hundreds of fires over the past 18 years in both the public & private sectors. Ethan is a licensed Private Investigator in Texas and an active Peace Officer. He is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator with the NAFI (National Association of Fire Investigators). He is also a Certified Master Fire Investigator, and Master Fire Inspector & Plans Examiner with the Texas Fire Commission and International Fire Code Plans Examiner. Ethan has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.

He now serves as a private fire investigator and is currently employed at S.C. Fire Consulting, Inc. which is licensed in Texas and Louisiana as a private fire investigation/code analysis consulting company, based out of Houston, Texas.
